Final Score: KC 0 | ATL 3

Overall Record: 85-75

Winning/Losing Pitcher

• W: Max Fried (11-10 | 3.25 ERA)
• L: Brady Singer (9-13 | 3.71 ERA)
• S: Raisel Iglesias (33 | 1.75 ERA)

It looked like trouble early for Brady Singer, who had a 26 pitch first inning, and he luckily got out of it, allowing nothing in the process. But bounced back after that with a 6 pitch second inning. As for Max Fried, he was just looking un-hittable and the Royals couldn’t do anything against him. Including Fried showing off his defensive skills, picking off Michael Massey in the fourth. In the bottom half of that inning, the Royals don’t complete a double play, which leads to Brady Singer giving up a two run bomb up to Sean Murphy, to give the Braves the lead 2-0. An 0-2 hanging slider with two outs to a home run hitter and former All-Star doesn’t sound like a smart idea, but what do I know. Murphy was in a deep slump and is not playing well this season, so all the more reason not to give him anything to hit. Brady does give this team yet another quality start. Going six and only allowing two runs. A solid performance by Brady as he just keeps this team in the game.

Brady Singer is perhaps the most “rarely great, but only sometimes bad” pitcher in the league.

A great offseason and he could really level up. A typical Brady Singer offseason that we’ve grown accustomed to and he could regress once again.
