County Democrats endorse Balter
Prosser said Balter has “a concern for the people and a good moral compass,” adding he trusts that, if elected, she would provide constituents with an explanation of her votes and vote in their best interest rather than in the interest of donors.”
Balter would be “a local congresswoman” and have an established presence here in Oswego and elsewhere throughout the district, Drumm said.

Dana Balter, a professor at Syracuse University and a leading activist in central New York, will participate in the interview beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. The interview will last at least 30 minutes. It will be streamed live on The Citizen’s Facebook page, facebook.com/auburncitizen.
Uplift Syracuse endorses Dana Balter for Congress
Uplift Syracuse, which focuses on education, health care, the environment and other issues, endorsed Balter Monday. The decision followed the group’s candidates forum that was held last month in Syracuse.
Riding the Blue Wave?
Democrats believe there’s a blue wave about to sweep the country, and Dana Balter is hoping to ride the crest, becoming the party’s choice to challenge – and defeat – Republican Congressman John Katko in New York’s 24th Congressional District.
Balter was invited by the Citizens’ Response Network of Wayne County to speak to group members and guests in the historic Sexton Building in Palmyra.
